Suggested sales and what guests ask
Its real figures, month by month, and what your guests ask it most.

What it's for
On the AI Waiter page you can see, with real figures from your venue, what your guests added thanks to its suggestions, whether those suggestions raise the ticket (using a control group) and what they ask it. You can also see how many of its 300 included answers you've used this month.
Sales suggested by your waiter
At the top of the page, the black «Sales suggested by [name] this month» block:
- The amount: «What your guests added from a [name] suggestion they hadn't asked for, in served or paid orders. Each suggestion counts once.» Below it, in how many orders, and the top item («Top: …»).
- While there's nothing yet: «No data yet: as soon as your guests add something [name] suggests, you'll see it here.»
- Three figures: Questions answered, Suggestions shown and Added from a suggestion.
It only counts what the guest hadn't asked for: if a guest asks «do you have croquetas?» and then adds them, that doesn't count as a suggested sale. And only orders that are actually served or paid.
Do the suggestions help? The control group
To find out whether order suggestions really raise the ticket, 10% of visits aren't shown suggestions in the order (this is the control group). We compare the average ticket of the two groups:
- «Average ticket with suggestions: X. Without them (control group, 10 % of visits): Y (+Z %).»
- While there aren't enough orders yet: «Not enough orders to compare yet: N are needed in each group.» (At least 5 orders are needed in each group.)
It's a fair comparison: both groups are normal visits chosen at random, and the only difference is that some see suggestions and others don't.
What guests ask
The «What guests ask» block shows you, for this month:
- The topics with their number of questions: Allergens, Prices, «Do you have…?», What's in it, Drinks, Desserts and coffee, Recommendations, Diets, Ordering, Opening hours, Bookings, Payment, «Are you a person?» and Other.
- Most asked, with how many times.
- Left unanswered: things your menu doesn't say. «Add it to the menu (or the dish description) and next time it will know.»
«This month, with no personal data: we don't keep who asked and we remove emails, phone numbers and names.»
The 300 answers included each month
The page has a bar: «X of 300 answers included this month» and «After that, 1 credit per answer. You have N credits.». Below it, today's count: «Today: N of 250 AI answers» (see the daily limit). In AI › Credits you'll also see «X of 300 used» and when they renew.
What counts as an answer
Only a guest's written question that the AI answers.
What doesn't count
- The conversation buttons («What do you recommend?», «To drink», «Another round»…).
- Order suggestions, «Noted!», «Coming right up!» and the bill.
- Anything the waiter answers from your menu data, without AI (prices, «do you have…?», what's in a dish, allergens, «are you a person?»).
- Answers where the AI fails.
- Your tests in the dashboard.
When they renew
On the 1st of every month, at 00:00 your venue's time. Any you don't use don't carry over to the next month.
And if they run out
- After 300, each AI answer uses 1 credit from your balance (see Credits).
- If you have no credits left, the waiter switches to basic mode: it carries on with the buttons, suggestions, the bill and answers from your menu data. Your guest sees no warning.
- On the page you'll see «[name] is in basic mode: top up credits», with the Top up credits button. Once you top up, it answers with AI again.
For safety, there's a cap of 20,000 answers a month per venue, on top of your daily limit.
Tips
- Look at the figures at the end of the month, not on day one: comparisons need orders.
- Check «Left unanswered» every week: it's usually an ingredient, opening hours or a drink that isn't on the menu.
- If you see the 300 running out before the end of the month, buy a credit pack: credits never expire.
- If a dish you want to push isn't selling, mark it as featured (★) and improve its photo.
