What it's for
If you have more than one venue, the Several venues module brings them together in a single account:
- You switch venues without signing in again.
- You see the figures for all your venues together, live.
- You have a central menu that you publish to the venues you choose, with exceptions per venue.
How much it costs
14.90 €/month (or 149 €/year) per additional venue, plus VAT. Each venue keeps its own plan; you only pay this module for the venues you add to the first one (0 € while you have one). It's included in the Everything plan: your additional venues don't pay for this module.
Turning it on
- In Settings › Modules, find Several venues and tap View.
- Tap Turn on Several venues. It's paid from day one and only for the venues you add.
- From then on you have the Settings › My venues tab.
Adding a venue
- A new venue: in Settings › My venues, Add another venue. It's created with your same account and is already in your group.
- A venue you already have on The Food Please: Link a venue I already have. Type its address and the email and password for its dashboard.
You can have up to 20 venues in a group.
Switching venues
With two or more venues, at the top of the dashboard you have the Switch venue selector, with All venues (the combined figures) and Add another venue.
The central menu
- In Settings › My venues › Central menu, tap Choose central venue: its menu will be the one copied to the others.
- Prepare the menu in that venue as usual.
- Tap Publish menu and choose which venues. It tells you how many dishes are copied.
Each venue can have its own exceptions: Own price, Sold out here or Not served here. Exceptions and each venue's own dishes are kept when you publish. You can undo the last publication (up to 90 days later).
Removing a venue from the group
In Settings › My venues, Remove from group. Its menu and data aren't touched. The main venue can't leave while there are others.
Common problems
| What happens | Why | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| You don't see «My venues» in the menu | You don't have the module, or you've signed in with a PIN. | Turn it on in Modules and sign in with the owner's account. |
| «Managed by [venue], the group's main venue.» | You're in a venue that isn't the main one. | Switch to the main venue. |
| You can't link a venue | The email or password isn't the one for its dashboard. | Use the details you sign in to that venue's dashboard with. |
