The quick answer.
Looking for alternatives to Qamarero or Last.app? Start with another question: what do you actually use? Both are hospitality management systems that operate in Spain. Both start from the POS. On top of it they build the QR menu, ordering from the table, delivery, bookings and business control. They're complete tools. And it shows in the subscription.
If you want one system for the floor, the kitchen, Uber Eats or Glovo orders and staff management, Qamarero and Last.app are built for that. Expect a higher monthly fee and a paid set-up.
If what you want is for tables to order by themselves, for tickets to reach the kitchen and for your waiter to stop running back and forth with a notepad, look at The Food Please. Menu & floor costs €29.90/month + VAT (€19.90 for life for the first 30 venues). No set-up fee.
A word before we go on. The Food Please is our product. That's why we don't comment on anyone's quality. We only use what each company publishes on its website, with the link and the date we checked it at the end. And we also say where they beat us.

Qamarero: pricing for an all-in-one, in stages.
Qamarero sells a POS with table service built in. According to its pricing page, every plan includes the POS, handheld ordering, a QR menu, a kitchen screen and ordering and paying from the table.
On top of that you switch on stages. Growth: bookings, CRM, loyalty and reviews. Delivery: own delivery with no commission and integration with platforms. Today it connects Uber Eats; Glovo and Just Eat are listed as “coming soon” on its website. Control: staff, inventory, costs, analytics and AI-assisted rotas. And Total, with everything.
Its digital menu translates automatically into English, French and Italian. It marks the 14 allergens dish by dish. And it updates instantly when you change something on the POS.
How much does Qamarero cost? The first month of software is free. After that, “from €169/month”. Total, “from €249/month”. The page doesn't say whether those figures include VAT. Set-up is paid separately: €200 or €500, according to its FAQ. Hardware is quoted. There's no lock-in.
Where it wins: if you want one tool for the floor, the kitchen, your own delivery and staff control, with someone to import your menu and train your people, Qamarero covers more ground than we do. It suits busy restaurants with several people on the floor and delivery.
Last.app: pricing for the POS that connects delivery.
Last.app is a POS designed to bring channels together. Glovo, Uber Eats and Just Eat orders go straight into the till.
How much does Last.app cost? Its pricing page shows three plans per venue. Starter: €50 a month + VAT, two POS licences and 100 integrated delivery orders. Growth: €95, four licences and 550 orders. Unlimited: €175, no limits. Billed yearly, €46, €87 and €162 a month.
Installation is a one-off €500 + VAT. It includes configuration, menu migration and training. The kitchen screen is a €35-a-month add-on. Bookings have a free basic plan and paid ones. Time tracking, promotions, reports and the delivery integration are listed as free. Stock, from Growth up. The online shop is listed as free in one section and, in the pricing table, at “up to €40/month + 4% + €0.20/sale”: ask which one applies to you.
Where it wins: if you sell a lot of delivery across several platforms, run virtual brands or a delivery-only kitchen, or need to connect lots of systems, Last.app is built for that. We don't integrate Glovo, Uber Eats or Just Eat.
Commission on table orders: who charges what.
This is where the numbers change the most. Look at what happens to every order that comes in through the QR code.
Last.app separates two things. Viewing the menu (QR Menu) is free. Ordering and paying from the table (QR Ordering) has a fee of up to €25 that falls with what you take through QR, down to €0 at around €1,670 processed. Plus a 1.5% commission per order, according to the product page. The table on its pricing page, however, says “up to €25/month + 4% + €0.20/sale”. If QR is going to matter to you, ask which one applies.
Qamarero doesn't publish its own commission on its pricing page. Payments go through Stripe or Monei, which charge their own rates.
At The Food Please, table orders carry no commission. None. You only pay 2% per online payment, when the guest pays from their phone, plus Stripe's fee, as with a card machine. It's all on Pricing.
The Food Please: the affordable alternative. And what it doesn't do.
The Food Please starts with the digital menu. Guests scan the QR code on their table. They see the menu with photos, allergens and in English. They order from their phone. And the order lands on the kitchen screen with the table number.
That's time saved. Your waiter doesn't go to the table to take the order or back to the bar to call it out. That time goes on looking after guests, clearing tables or taking payments.
The POS, with till, floor plan and X and Z reports, and the customer club come with every plan.
Prices are on Pricing. Menu & floor: €29.90/month + VAT (€19.90 for life for the first 30 venues), with 14 days free and no card. Customers come back: €59.80 (€49.80 with the founder price). It adds bookings with deposits, a stamp card, Google reviews and the menu in up to 8 languages. Everything: €99.99 (€89.99 with the founder price). It adds the AI Waiter, table and online payments, stock and recipe costing and invoices ready for VERI*FACTU. No lock-in. No installation fee.
More than one venue? €14.90 a month for each extra venue, included in Everything. If you run a large group, let's talk separately.
Where we fall short: we don't integrate the delivery platforms. We don't have a staff rota planner. And we're a smaller, newer team than the other two.
Where we fit: bars, cafés and restaurants with one or two venues that want guests to order from the table, pay little each month and get started with no installation and no change of card machine.
Three questions before you switch.
How much do you sell for delivery?
If a good share of your sales comes through Glovo, Uber Eats or Just Eat, look for a POS that integrates them. Last.app says it connects all three. Qamarero, on its Delivery plan, connects Uber Eats today; Glovo and Just Eat, “coming soon”. If almost everything happens on the floor, don't pay for an integration you won't use.
How much will you pay in the first year?
Add up the subscription, installation, hardware and commissions. A low fee with a commission per order can end up costing more than a high fee if you take a lot through QR. And vice versa. Do the maths with your own sales, not the brochure's.
Can you leave whenever you like?
All three say there's no lock-in on monthly billing. Check whether the yearly plan is paid up front. And ask how you take your menu and your customer list with you if you ever switch.

If what you mainly want is for tables to order by themselves, look at The Food Please too.
Going by the prices each one publishes, the lowest fee of the three is The Food Please's: Menu & floor costs €29.90/month + VAT (€19.90 for life for the first 30 venues), against €50 + VAT for Last.app's Starter and the €169/month Qamarero starts from. But they don't do the same things: compare set-up, commissions and what you really need, too.

Qamarero doesn't publish its own commission on its pricing page: payments go through Stripe or Monei, which charge their own. Ask both before you sign. At The Food Please, table orders carry no commission: just 2% per online payment, plus Stripe's fee.
According to their websites, no. Qamarero: “Cancel whenever you like from your dashboard”. Last.app: no lock-in on the monthly plan; the yearly plan is billed up front. The Food Please has no lock-in either: cancel from the dashboard and you stop paying at the end of the paid period.
Yes. Qamarero and Last.app include importing your menu in their paid set-up. With The Food Please you upload it yourself from the dashboard, in a few minutes: a PDF, a link to your website or the pasted text. You check it on one screen before publishing. No installation fee.
Last.app, which says it connects Glovo, Uber Eats and Just Eat to its POS. Qamarero, on its Delivery plan, connects Uber Eats today; Glovo and Just Eat are listed as “coming soon” on its website. The Food Please doesn't integrate them: it offers your own delivery from your menu, with your own drivers, in the Online payments module, and you pay 2% per online payment instead of a platform's percentage.
